We’re Building a Movement for Grassroots Change
We believe that every individual has the power to create positive change in their community and the world – we just need to give them the right tools! We collaborate with our community & beyond through workshops & events to facilitate co-creation and collaboration between individuals, groups and organisations working across the social change space.
The Humanitarian Changemakers Network was founded in 2020, evolving out of a series of workshops and resources created by our founder, Tiyana J, who had almost a decade of experience working and volunteering in the social change space. Today, we are a hybrid social enterprise, engaging in trade through our platforms School of Social Impact (education), Changing Times (media), and Theory of Change AU (consulting), and redistributing profits to fund our impact initiatives.
Our goal at the Humanitarian Changemakers Network is to create an enabling environment for people to be able to access role models, opportunities, and resources, to catalyse them to become agents of change and scale up their impact— by building strong networks, developing their capacity, changing narratives, and taking direct action in the community.
