Life Cykel
Life Cykel was co-founded by Julian Mitchell and Ryan Creed in 2015 when they decided to collect coffee waste from Australian cafes and restaurants and used it to grow gourmet mushrooms, which they could sell back to the community. Once the coffee waste had been used to grow mushrooms it could then be used as an organic fertiliser. They were creating a closed-loop system and beginning their mission to inspire new attitudes towards food production, waste products and mushrooms.

Why we love Life Cykel
When it comes to making positive changes in our lives, we all want to see results quickly. Whether we’re trying to improve our physical health, mental well-being, or productivity levels, we want to see tangible progress that motivates us to keep going. By understanding how our bodies and minds work, we can identify areas where we can make improvements. For example, we might use biohacking techniques to increase our energy levels, improve our sleep quality, or boost our cognitive function. And best of all, biohacking is available to everyone – you don’t need a lot of money or fancy equipment to get started. So if you’re looking for a way to perform better in your daily life or changemaking work, give biohacking a try. You might be surprised at what you can achieve!
Who should try Life Cykel
Growing your own mushrooms can help to improve the health of both people and ecosystems? And that’s not even their best trick. Mushrooms are also nature’s recyclers, helping to break down organic matter and release important nutrients back into the soil. This makes them an essential ingredient in any gardener’s toolkit.
But what if you don’t have a green thumb? Don’t worry, mushrooms are still a great addition to your diet. They’re packed with vitamins and minerals, and have been shown to boost immunity and cognitive function. So whether you’re interested in biohacking your way to better performance in your life, or keen to get your hands dirty and grow some mushrooms of your own, Life Cykel have got a huge range of mushroom products for changemakers worldwide.
